Charm School. That's where I was yesterday. I had the most wonderful day. Jam packed, but wonderful. After dropping the kids at school, I jumped on the freeway and headed down to my old stomping grounds in Tucson, Arizona. I met my darling friends, Tina and Carmen and spent five hours looking at thousands, and I mean thousands, of beads, charms, silver, watches and jewelry. My friends discovered this artist last year "after" the gem show. We were so excited to get to her booth. Tina and Carmen went the day before, on opening day, and warned me that I was going to be in big trouble when I got there. They were right. I spent my entire gem show budget at her booth. So, of course, I went a "little" over my budget shopping the rest of the day. In case you are as captivated by her charms as I am, I'm providing you with her website. Check out www.wynwoods.com. The detail in her work is amazing. I also bought four strands of beads, a few watches, some wonderful vintage pieces, silk ribbon to use in place of chains and a few other fun items. By the way, the silk ribbon was everywhere. I'm leaving you with some eye candy. I can't even explain to you how large the Tucson gem show is. It is the second largest in the world. If you ever get a chance to go, I highly recommend it.
