Everything happens in 3's right? Well in our house, as of tomorrow, it will be 3 surgeries in one year. My husband had 2 of the 3 last year. Tomorrow it's my turn. I'm having my gallbladder removed, of all the silly things. If you have ever had a gallbladder attack, you would want to have yours removed too. Wish me luck! It's outpatient surgery. I'll be home in a short six hours after I check in. My surgeon told me to take two weeks off of work, but I'm hoping to be back on my feet much sooner than that.

Oh my! I have indeed had a gallbladder attack although I did not know what it was at the time and thougt I was truly dying. I remember begging the ER staff to not let me die. And, of course, I didn't. The offending gall bladder was removed and all is well in my little world. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Good luck tomorrow. I've had it done, and it's not too bad- I wish there was something I could do for you!

Cindy - take your time getting back on your feet - the hospitals just crank you out so quickly so you feel like your recovery should be just as quick. It is very tiring/draining to heal - take your time with it and don't try to do too much.

The only energy you should be expending (except to heal) is to wave your little sterling bell to summon someone to fluff your pillows or bring you more tea.

Take care and God speed.
