We had a little visitor this week. Miss Sophie came to visit and brought alone her mother, who is Mark's gorgeous cousin Patrice and her grandmother who just happens to be our favorite Aunt Janet. You forget the stages that your own children go through. The constant motion of a two-year old. I took 16 pictures. This is the only one that is not blurry. Sophie is in constant motion and will not pose for the camera. She couldn't get enough of playing in Taylor's room. She wanted to stay in the corner that we refer to as the American Girl world. She loved twirly Bitty's umbrella.
When Chloe enters Taylor's room, Taylor gives her one command "bed", and she settles right into her shabby bed. It was adorable to hear Sophie trying to order Chloe around. Chloe moved so fast, the photo was blurred as well.
She loved playing with the dollhouse too and was so gentle with everything. She stole my heart. I hadn't seen her for over a year and miss her all ready.

Hello Summer! This is what my kids came home to today. Last day of school - I saw a similar idea on Heidi's blog last week. I bought a new package of twistable colored pencils and two wiffle ball sets. My kids love to hit those balls in the backyard. Of course they are always flying into other yards and then the chase is on. You should see the kitchen table now. No more clean, white paper which is just what I wanted. I'll post another picture later.
